Night and Day

For this post, I teamed up with Missguided to show the versatility of the maxi dress and how it can be taken from day to night. In all honestly, this was initially a little bit of a challenge for me. I've worn maxis in the past, but it has definitely been a while. I didn't really consider myself to be a maxi dress person, but because of that I decided to take the challenge and figure out how to incorporate it into my style. After doing so I think its safe to say that I am a maxi dress person after all.

My Day Look:

For this look I decided to keep the dress simple, but use white accessories to give the dress more of a sporty look. The shoes were the key accessory here, and from there I added the sunglasses and the backpack to make it a little more casual.

My Night Look:

For this look I decided to add drama by sticking to all black. While the fur coat may seem out of place for a summer look, I absolutely loved the look of it with the neckline of this dress (also I'm always cold so its really not out of place for me). Instead of a necklace I decided to use a hat to tie the look together.

If you haven't heard of Front Row Shop, then I advise you to check out their website immediately. When they contacted me I became overwhelmed by how perfect all of their clothing is. This top is from there and I'm in love with it (you can find it here). Not only is the quality wonderful, but its become my new go to top. They've quickly become one of my favorite online stores, and I basically want everything on their website. Here are just a few of my favorites:
